Good news, farm show lovers!
You won’t have to wait until January to get a taste of those famous Farm Show milkshakes.
The Pa. Dairymen’s Association and PennAg Industries Association are teaming up to hold a Farm Show in June, featuring free milkshakes in front of State Capitol Soldier’s Grove on Commonwealth Avenue.
The event – held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 7 – will also include dairy-themed “selfie” areas and a performance by Olivia Farabaugh, who recently auditioned for “The Voice,” according to a news release.
In honor of June Dairy Month, donations will also be accepted for Feeding Pennsylvania’s Fill A Glass With Hope, a statewide charitable fresh milk program for food banks.
Every dollar donated equals eight servings of milk.
